Senior Backend Engineer (Architecture & AI Systems) at an early-stage startup building an AI platform to help architecture and engineering teams reuse knowledge from past projects to reduce costly rework in planning and pre-construction. You’ll work on multi-tenant backend systems powering hybrid search, document ingestion pipelines, and large-scale indexing across complex engineering datasets. Stack: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, vector search, distributed systems, async pipelines. Requirements: 8+ years backend engineering experience, strong systems design skills, experience with distributed systems and production B2B SaaS.
