Job Description

We are seeking a principal-level front-end engineer to lead UX-focused development on our Remix/Rails product and our Astro/Sanity marketing site. You will prioritize accessibility, page weight optimization, and robust validation/testing harnesses, while keeping a sane dependency tree. This role also includes shaping our agents and workflows—deciding what tooling to hand to agents vs. automation, how work is specified and parallelized, how results are presented, and where security and review gates live. You’ll influence the architecture and tooling with modern AI capabilities, operate with high autonomy on a small team (15+ years of impact), and contribute to a strong design system foundation using TypeScript, Tailwind, ShadCN, TanStack, etc.
