ORFF Maestra is preparing a U.S. Department of Education SBIR Phase IA proposal to build an assessment reasoning platform for school speech-language pathologists. It implements TTL-MSM, a fully specified decision framework for determining whether a student’s communication profile reflects a disorder or a difference. Clinicians code evidence sources and a fixed rule combines them. The research lead is at Baylor University.
